Josh Lucas walks around the coastline in Cascade Head, Oregon, in this sneak peek from GQ’s June issue.

The 39-year-old actor partnered with Nautica and traveled to the region as part of the magazine’s Gentlemen’s Fund to help bring attention to the ocean and wildlife in the area, which are not protected under The Nature Conservancy.

"We were all inside a landscape that was electrifying and it made you understand the conservation movement is so profound and important. That’s the thing I’ve learned working with Oceana: If you deplete one little place like the ocean waters off Cascade Head, which is so magnificent and so lush with life, that depletion begins this domino effect that rings true across a large area," Josh shared.

Josh Lucas is more than just a pretty face! The actor is partnering with GQ, Nautica and Oceana for this year’s Gentlemen’s Fund, a program established to help raise awareness and money for issues important to modern men, such as conservation, hunger, education, and leadership.

The hot photo above is from when Lucas traveled to Cascade Head, Oregon to bring attention to its beautiful coastline.

While the coastline itself is currently under protection by The Nature Conservancy, the ocean and the wildlife are not. So with the help of Lucas, Nautica, and GQ, Oceana hopes to expand their conservation ethic even further.
